TurboTuneSQL Installation & Peripheral Terminal Requirements

Getting started with TTSQL has never been easier. Our guided installer provides a clean, intuitive interface that walks you through setup step by step — from server launch to configuration — so you can be up and running in minutes. No complex scripts, no command-line headaches, just a smooth path to optimizing Db2 performance.

To run TurboTuneSQL®, your peripheral terminal or VM must meet the following specifications. These requirements are mandatory — TTSQL does not currently operate on systems outside of this configuration.

Mandatory Specifications

  • Platform: Intel-based machine (x86_64 architecture)

  • Operating System: GNU/Linux Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS (Codename: focal)

  • Processor: Intel i7 or higher

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM (minimum)

  • Storage: 4 – 8 TB internal storage

Installation Process

  1. Download the customized installation package using the link provided by your CPS representative.

  2. Verify your CLIENTID in the accompanying documentation before proceeding.

  3. Install and launch TTSQL following the step-by-step guide included in the package.

Deployment Guidance

We strongly recommend provisioning new hardware or a dedicated virtual machine that meets or exceeds the specifications above. This ensures stability, eliminates legacy conflicts, and allows TTSQL to operate at peak performance.

⚠️ Note: These requirements are not optional. TTSQL will not function properly on systems that do not strictly match the specifications above.
